A changing of the guard. Thank you for your support over the years!

Dear Friends and Supporters of MooreMart,

My family and I would like you to know that soon you will be hearing of a name change as well as a “changing of the guard” at MooreMart. A group of our veteran volunteers has graciously stepped in for us and will keep MooreMart running but under a new name. Although Paul has been extremely diligent about avoiding any involvement that could possibly be questioned the judicial committee that oversees the Judges out of court volunteer activities recommended that he separate from the day to day activities and remove his name from the operation. For years we have made sure that Paul has operated within the confines set forth by the Judicial Conduct Committee but the requirements and regulations of his field are immense and growing every day making Paul’s participation as a Board member and the organizations President an on…

Giving Back to USMC Wounded Veterans!

Catharine • Wed 11 of Mar, 2015 (18:41 UTC)
The Grand Canyon River Runners Association is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the rehabilitation of wounded warriors through recreational activity. Specifically, the organization is planning a rafting trip for 24 wounded Marines and is requesting your assistance. This is a group of 24 marines who put their lives on the line for us. A group of young men who went to war to fight for our American freedoms, to keep our homeland safe from terrorists, and came back maimed and injured. Some are without limbs. Many stood beside their friends who were shot or even blown to bits. All suffer some level of PTSD, and all are trying to re-frame their lives in their disabled state.

As a board member of the trip sponsor, the Grand Canyon River Runners Association, I am helping raise funds to send these men to one of the holiest places on the planet – on a rafting trip down the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. On this trip, each man will learn how to accept help, and…
